4 teabags, half a dozen Splenda and cream
I cringe every time I see my friend use the mug on the far left. Besides being a commercial faux paper cup it is stained from years of brewing strong black tea. She has looked for a handmade mug of similar size with no luck. I can't say that I have ever seen one either. My first attempt, the vase pictured in the middle, was too large thus the double handles and "squoosh" to oval. I trimmed the paper pattern a little and tried again. Working from memory I came pretty close to matching the volume but not so good on the proportions. Hopefully the narrow base can withstand a tail wagging Walter. Happy Birthday my friend! I hope you enjoy your new hand-painted mug. Since I blogged about it do I still have to wrap it? Maybe wrap but no card?
