Our in-person tour was cancelled earlier this spring but we regrouped and came up with a virtual event of sorts that includes impromptu demos and studio tours on the FLX Pottery Tour social media accounts. Come paint with me in the cozy heated greenhouse during the Sunday Farmer’s Market. Each ticket includes two dessert sized plates. Paint them both or invite a friend to join in the fun. Use one of my designs or bring your own. No experience required. Note: two sessions will be held the same day from 11am-1pm and 1pm to 3pm. Registration is required so I know how many plates to prepare. Fired plates can be picked up as soon as February 14th or can be shipped back to you for a small fee.

Shop small. Shop local. Shop handmade at this one day event in the heated greenhouse at Chamberlain Acres Greenhouse. It's a small artisan market with 20 makers providing unique gifts of pottery, jewelry, wood, fibers, painting, illustration, body care and more. Admission is free.

This annual art event is held at Steamboat Landing in Ithaca, NY. The same great covered location as the Farmer's Market. I'll be in booth #43 with a blossoming selection of fresh floral pottery. Music, wine, craft beer and food also available.

Saturday 10 AM – 5 PM and Sunday 10 AM – 4 PM The 8th annual Western New York Pottery Festival is a juried, clay-exclusive show that consists of over 20 regional and national ceramic artists. Events include: paint your own raku firing, pottery demonstrations, a Clay Olympic competition and kid’s clay activities.

100 American Craftsmen is a juried craft show. Artisan images are reviewed by a panel of artisans, curators, and craft media specialists and scored. The three-day indoor/outdoor event features lives music, live interactive art, locally made craft beer and wine highlighting the regions cultural sector. Show hours: Friday 6-9pm, Saturday 10-5pm and Sunday 11-4pm

The second annual tour will include 18 potters, 3 studios and 1 perfect weekend in the gorgeous Finger Lakes. All pottery will be available for purchase and artists will be present to discuss their work. Please see our website for a schedule of demos, a list of food vendors and more information. 2018 will be the market's 28th year! The Ithaca Artist Market fills all 88 booths at the Ithaca Farmers Market with regional fine artists in a unique, once-a-year, can't miss event. Over 85 established visual artists will be juried into the Market to showcase and sell a stunning variety of some of the best fine art in the region. Admission is free, and visitors to the market have the unique opportunity to meet and talk with all these artists in one place and to buy work of all shapes and sizes.

Each selected artist creates 50 items for show and sale in this one weekend fundraising event. With over 20 artists participating there is sure to be a little something for everyone. The purpose is not only for artists to show and sell their work – but to also interact with, and educate, the public. Events will consist of: paint your own raku firing, demonstrations, Clay Olympic competitions Saturday and Sunday, and wood kiln unloading at noon on Saturday. Kid’s clay activities will take place throughout the entire weekend.
